- Majoring in Performing Arts at Colorado State University, Warren was highly involved in all aspects of theatre. He performed in many productions ranging from main stage musicals to small, experimental pieces. He also directed, stage managed, built and designed many productions at CSU. After college Warren directed and performed for such companies as Bas Bleu Theatre Company, Openstage Theatre and Mainline Productions. He also acted as Artistic Director at the professional level at the Carousel Dinner Theatre for two years. After pursuing a career in advertising he relocated to Denver where he served a stint as Vice President of the Denver Civic Theatre Board of Directors. Warren has performed in the Paragon productions of A Moon for the Misbegotten, A Tuna Christmas, Mojo, Look Back in Anger, and The Caretaker, for which he won the 2006 Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama and the 2006 Marlowe Award for Best Actor in a Drama. Directing credits with Paragon include Vieux Carre, The Book of Liz, The Mercy Seat, Misery, Hedda Gabler, and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
