The Trench

Paragon's New Play Development Series

Designed to give Colorado playwrights the opportunity to develop and improve their writing while gaining vital exposure to a larger audience, Paragon's Trench series drew over 200 audience members to its staged readings of selected unpublished plays in 2006. Saints and Hysterics, one of the selected scripts from the 2003 season of The Trench, was produced as a fully-mounted production in Paragon's 2004 season. In 2005 Paragon commissioned Ellen K. Graham to write a play as a collaborative development project after she participated in the Trench's inaugural season. A full production of Ms. Graham's commissioned play, How We May Know Him, will be mounted in Paragon's 2007 season.
