- Martha Harmon Pardee has appeared in two Paragon productions. Most recently, she played Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? for which she won The Denver Post's Ovation Award for Best Actress in a Drama. Prior to that, Martha was in The Mercy Seat with Michael Stricker, for which she received a Best Actress Ovation nomination. Martha graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Oral Interpretation, where she studied with Tony Award winners Frank Galati and Mary Zimmerman. While in LA, Martha studied at Playhouse West with Robert Carnegie, Jeff Goldblum, and Sanford Meisner. Since moving to Colorado in 1989, she has acted in many theaters in the Denver/Boulder area, most recently at Paragon, the Denver Center Stage Theater, the Arvada Center, Modern Muse, and Curious Theatre Company. Over the past 12 years, Martha has narrated over 750 books on tape for the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, winning both national and international awards for her narration. Martha will appear next on the Paragon stage as Amanda in The Glass Menagerie.
